Garage Art
Finally found some time over the Holidays to finish up a little project of mine. Most of the emblems were purchased on ebay and touched up where needed and polished. I intended to give this to a friend for Christmas but decided he would probably rather have a WalMart gift card so I kept it for myself
! Gonna hang it in the garage with everthing else. It has a glass front so they should be protected from dust/dirt. There are obviously better emblems to have in a collection but they cost more so I started with the cheap stuff (Pinto) to see how it would turn out. Might have to start looking again...

This is the garage art I CNC machined while studying CNC at college. Forgive the Ford content but I did this because my father has a 57 Ford and I grew up with that car first and our Oldsmobiles all came later... It DOES have Olds content too though, since we have starfires and I couldn't fit the word starfire onto the plaque I made a logo of a star going into flames which is suposse to represent starfires also in the garage!

I really like that, great idea. I think we all have some sort of garage art. I have an old tin beer sign for Rolling Rock. I also have a piece of the rear quarter panel from my restoration. This way I can show people that the previous owner put a new rear quarter panel over the old one....
