New? Used? They are specifically 1972 455 heads. Good too - they have hardened valve seats on intakes and exhausts.

A lot depends on condition- a refreshment valve job can cost several hundred dollah

Sorry, not too much info on them. Sent the guy a email on them. Sounds to be used, and not sure if they need a rebuild. Was reading the olds faq's on 72 Ga heads, could be WO heads. If they are, does that make them worth more than just standard Ga's?

You only have big valve or small valve Ga heads. Don't much matter if they were on a W-30 other than they would have been big valve. For the most part, any heads you buy should be considered cores needing rebuilt. I sell BBO heads for $50 to $100 each.

Well... how much is he asking? Prices do vary from different parts of the country/world depending on what's available. If you don't have many big block heads showing up on the local classified ads you might think about it. I've been selling big valve heads for $150 a set in my part of the country.
