Fuel Sending Unit

I am in the process of installing all new fuel lines on my 71 Cutlass to connect to the external fuel pump on the car. I wanted to use the -an fittings I have but the sending unit has to be modified to accept the adapters. The return and output lines have to be cut and my tubing cutter is to big to cut around the lines. I am looking for suggestions on how to cut the lines evenly.

Fred

Those were the options I had in mind. My only problem with the hacksaw and dremel cutoff will is not getting a straight cut. I guess I could file it down until its straight. I will give it a try. Thanks for the advice.

The compression fitting won't care if its not perfectly square.
