Frustrated delema

I need some input. I have just become a member and I had previously made a deal with a person that no one on this forum wants to deal with. I listed all my parts in hopes of making a few more dollars that he wanted to give. I have large items is the problem. I have hoods, fenders, doors, and glass which is all a pain to pack and ship. So long story short 550.00 was the offer for 29 pieces. It is going to cost me 100.00 or better to deliver. so that makes it 450.00 for the list. It averaged 15.00 ea. yes 15.00 for a hood, fender, rear glass, you get the picture. Now I had a chance to sell a fender to another member on here in PA. but the cost of shipping is 96.00. This guy offered 160.00 for the fender and shipping which gets me 45.00 for the fender by the time I get it to the nearest bud depot. Yeah that is a better amount but the other guy will not by any of the parts if I sell the fender. Whats some opinions?

I have posted all my parts on a local craigslist add but it seems nobody here is fixing these cars.

Your parts, do whatever you like. It is always a problem when trying to sell large parts. If there isnt enough profit on a sale then cancel it. It you really want to unload take what you can get. Some things just arent worth shipping.

That is what I originally had in my mind. This stuff is ruining out side and someone needs to be using it. I understand this guy is going to have to set on part of it to make the money back. All of it needs restored. I thought 800.00 was fair and he hit me at 500.00. We settled on 550.00 then I withdrew after I had time to think it over. He upped the offer to 600.00 but it is too cheap for the stuff. There is no way I can ship glass or the hoods....

Sell it for the price you think is fair and the buyer takes care of the shipping. If you want to help some then do it but don't let your self get take advantage of.
