front window channel inner molding 65 Cutlass

I want to replace the front window channel runner inner molding that the front wind runs in. It is secured at the top with a small Phillips screw. The body manual was of little use. What I want to know is what is the best way to do this. I have the new molding. I removed the little screw and I can pull out the old molding from the channel. Any one "been there done that"?? Thanks

Manual

I think page 2D-16 of the body manual will suffice as it show removal of the ventilator assembly which seems easier than messing with the window.

So as not lead someone astray of the above I need to post additional information. First of all the directions for removing the ventilator on 2D-16 #2 state to remove the window assembly. Due to this I chose not to try just removing the ventilator as it may not work. Therefore I chose to remove the whole window assembly. With this out it is easy to replace the front channel liner. This procedure is found on 2D-15, "Front Door Window Assembly "37 and "67" Styles. This is better anyway because now I can clean, and treat the inside of the door assembly. Fortunately there is nothing more than slight surface rust inside the door.
