How about an auction site for auto parts on this forum?
For example, I put together a collection of parts. List it on the auction site with a starting price, lasting a matter of days with or without a reserve. At the end of the time frame, the highest bidder wins. Of course, we have to work out the details. Kinda like ebay was back in the day, Fun!!! How about some thoughts???

For the auction to bring in enough bids, there has to be a wide enough audience. This site has more than 56,000 registered members, of which about 100 or so participate actively (a couple thousand or more posts). Nearly 31,000 of the registered users (over half) have never made a post on the site. About 18,000 registered users have only made 1-10 posts. Not exactly the audience needed for a viable auction.
