Ford v. Ferrari movie
I went to this movie last night. Great car movie for sure. When /if you go to watch this check out the cars in the background scenes. Wish I was able to rewind to see them all.
Great racing.

There is a question that a bunch of stuff was made up in the movie for drama. With all these people gone, no one to set the record straight. Hollywood doesn't care that these were real people's lives. Supposedly the Queen movie was the same, a lot made up for drama. Either way, a good movie, the cars and sounds are awesome. I can rewind it as much as I want on my Android box.

I loved it, also went and saw Midway - loved it too. I think all these movies are embellished with little twists that aren't quite accurate but make it fun to watch. Remember the Titanic movie? At least both these movies don't have a gushy made up romantic story line like Titanic did... I thought it was funny how all the cars in the background were in excellent shape- of course they were because they are actually someones collector car not someones 2 year old daily driver... Anyway a lot of fun to watch.

I saw it last weekend. Excellent movie! I don't know enough about racing to say if it was historically accurate. Definitely better than Ad Astra which I saw a few weeks ago. That movie was a turd.

One should never take Hollywood movies as factually correct. Its entertainment and its a business. That said everyone I talked to said it was a fun movie and very entertaining. I plan on going over Christmas holidays with a bunch of friends.

Yup, movie was good, no doubt. Enjoyable and thrilling to watch. Tho- the freedom to change historical facts rubbed me the wrong way too, as it might had some else. Even my wife liked it.
Second best movie ever after Rush ( they took freedom to alter history too but not that far).
9/10.

Inaccurate, well no chalk board at ringside with "go like hell", no one was locked in an office and Shelby approached Ford not the other way around, with a price of twenty five grand not so much unlimited, as I recall. Overall an enjoyable movie.

Saw it the other night and I loved it. I don't really care a whit if it's historically accurate or not...I can watch documentaries on PBS.

I enjoyed it, not sure about my wife. Carrol Shelby was my hero for sure as a teen in the 60's. Always wished I had a GT350. I will never forget the day in 66 when a 427 Cobra came rumbling down the street. I was at a gas station once and a guy pulled in with 427 COBRA repro and I asked him for a ride, he did it. I dated a woman about 10 years ago and she dated a guy for years in HS and college. She said all he wanted to do was work on his Mustang. I listened to that for years. One day she mentioned he had a web page for it, I checked it out. He purchased a 66 GT350 in the mid 70's and still owns it. Then I understood why he was paying more attention to it than her. So cool.

Just got back from the theater. I watched 24 hour war on Netflix prior. I gotta say I'm impressed. They added just enough drama to keep it intresting. But with plenty of accuracy to not butcher the real story. My wife really enjoyed it but she enjoys the dragstrip and helping me out when we take the olds out.
