fixing up a car
what steps would you do it in? im fixing up a car and i dont have alot of money so i do little things on it but the engine needs some work done to it so would you save up money to do that are go and do the little stuff 1st like the inside and wait tell you get a job and have money to do the inside im 17 and im just wondering what everyone thanks i should do thanks

Being that you are 17 and this is probably your main transportation.......
First, I'd want to put money into the engine and trans to make sure it lasts.
1. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, clean up any wiring messes.
2. Check your brakes all around, drums, pads, discs, replace as needed.
3. New tires if they are older then 7 years.
4. Flush the transmission fluid and change the filter.
Also get yourself some high quality wiper blades. Being that you're in Louisiana,
you obviously get some nasty hurricanes and rain storms.
Putting "Bling Bling" stuff on a car that doesn't help the car RUN better is foolish.
99% chance you won't own the car in 5 years anyways, so just put the money where it will count.
