FiTech install #3 today

Started at 10AM by 3:30 the 72 was running with it's new FiTech system. Since the O2 sensor bung was already in place as was a vent return line, the job was a breeze. Especially since I had two installs under the belt already. The very nice 72 convert belongs to a friend of mine and is running a bone stock 350 with 2.78 gears. Idle was much smoother and on its initial test drive we hadn't gone more then a block, the owner noticed much better throttle response. I noticed some changes, the gauges on the command center are now glycerin filled and the fuel hose for the AN style fittings goes on the barbed fittings a lot easier.

You don't work for FiTech, do you?

Really, from what has been said on our board and others I browse it seems like FiTech is where it's at! I would consider buying one if I were to put fuel injection on my Olds.

You know, I should be getting a kickback from them for each unit I install, probably will be doing another one shortly..... Either that or become a dealer for FiTech........

The least they should do is send a rep to do a video of your installs. It would make you famous on YouTube and the rep could provide you with free beer!

Have you had any problems with fuel leaks? I had a pipe plug leaking on the right side cover. It is on the bottom of the return passage.

Nope, no leaks on any of the installs, though I don't have my 65 anymore, would have been a fool to turn down the money that it brought. New owner really liked the fuel injection.
Bought another car already, not an Olds, but something very similar to what I had back 68 or so, taking a bit of flak from my Olds buddies but I had expected that....
