fingers crossed exhaust leak
fingers crossed exhaust leak
Been working my a$$ off getting my 55 ready for the Nationals,I mean I have spent more time cleaning under the car than on top of it. The old gal looks better than she ever has.
We are down to the real short strokes loading up all the crap you take to shows, you know the drill. I move the car to the shade to finish washing the top and I here this new tap tap exhaust sound, It wasn't there yesterday, got it now though. It went away as the engine warmed up. I probed around and found the left hand rear manifold stud missing it's head,of corse the stud broke flush with the cylinder head. No time to pull it down .I'm going to take a chance and head for Reno tomorrow. So if you see a 55 vert dressed to the nines but sounding like a thrashing machine, yep that will be me. Hope to see you there ....Tedd
