finally got the 72 running after 35+ years

Started up the 72 after 35+ years of sitting in grandmas garage. it was my dads hot rod. Ive been working on it for almost a year. initial start was pretty smoky. The lucas 10w-40 oil quieted the valve train down quickly. This is just after we tweaked the rebuilt carb a bit more but sounds pretty good.

67 400E block built by Don Kirn Racing
TH400 B&M transmission with manual reversed valve body
4.11 gears with posi.

Wow. Good looking car. It does not look like most cars that have been sitting for 35 years. Sounds good. Congrats.

Looks good. Is that an O.E.M. rear wing? I see you have a white Olds' 86, like mine.

Those A bodies like long garages. I've run into that problem. Engine sounds good.

Sounds Great, looks great too. Sitting in a garage for 35 years obviously is way different than in a barn or outside. It looks really clean. Lucky youQ!
