Finally!

Just got my first Olds since I sold my 68 Delmont in 1999. Got a black '69 cutlass Supreme. I'm rebuilding a '69 455 in my basement. The 350 and auto trans will be removed and replaced with the 455(with a Dyer 8-71 blower) and possibly a Lenco or Tremec 5 speed. Along the way it's also getting 4 wheel discs, steel stock car wheels and a hotchkiss suspension with lowering springs and dampers. Any of you ever run or plan on running the Silver State Classic?

The 455 is down to the bare block. My girlfriend and I carried it from the truck into the basement when I got it back from magnafluxing. It's probably about 200 pounds. Plus, the driveway has a door into the basement.

One fridge cart, remove intake, stand engine up on bellhousing end and it's quite easy to move around all by your self.

I think it's ~620lbs fully loaded. Crazy boat anchor heavy.

I'm guessing he has a walk in English style basement.
Because there's no way a complete 455 is going to make it up a flight of stairs in someone's hands.
