It is really remarkable how the classic car market has fallen off in the last couple years. Thanks for posting.

Wow, you're telling me the market has dropped.

This car looked beautiful, and a few years ago, this was a $100,000 car all day long, but the bidding stopped at $42K?

Original numbers matching 4-speed W-30 442

- All original drivetrain rebuilt
- Rust free Western car (Colorado-Texas)
- Rare Aegean Aqua special order with dash/dash paint code
- Letters of documentation from all 3 previous owners
- First place award from Dallas Olds National is displayed by the car
- This W-30 is the epitome of the American Muscle car.
- Very rare, fast and will enhance any collection.
- No disappointments

This would have been a $150K car easily back in 2006. This looks beautiful! It sold for only $77,500.

1971 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 convertible

- This car is one of 78 W-30 convertible automatics built
- 37,000 actual miles
- Complete matching numbers
- Original, untouched top, interior, and trunk
- One repaint in 1997
- Purchased from the original owners estate in the early 1990's
- Three owner history
- Won first place at BOP in 1998
- Air conditioning
- AM/FM stereo
- Power steering
- Power brakes
- Strong documentation complete with broadcast card

I thought the '75 H/O selling for $13k was a pretty good deal. That car looked MINT.
