Had a great weekend at the swap meet. Our bunch made some good money which came as somwhat of a surprise, given the economy and our relatively light load of parts this time. The neat part for me, though, was that I got to show my car in the Pavilion building at the fairgrounds. The theme this year was convertibles. Amazingly, we got the car from my place to the fairgrounds on Friday, and back today, without having to deal with rain.

There were some pretty neat convertibles in our row, starting with John H.'s '72 4-4-2 convertible, which won Best Of Show at our South Sound 4-4-2 Club picnic last July. My car was next, followed by a '72 Buick GS, a '62 Chevy Impala, a '58 Chevy Impala and a '60 Ford Edsel.

In a world where I hardly see an Oldsmobile at an open car show anymore, it was nice to have two Oldsmobiles side-by-side at the show!
