Engine I.D.

Engine I.D.

I was at a local High School auto shop today and they have a donated engine that they think came out of an Olds. I figure if it is an Olds engine someone on the site will know.

Steve,

Yes, it's an Olds motor. The intake and exhaust manifold are from a 1981-84 307 motor. You'll need to check the casting number on the block (on the little "shelf" where the oil fill tube is located) and on the heads to tell for sure.
