Edelbrock intake vs Heater control Help

I am having my '72 cutlass 350 engine rebuilt and want some additional hp. One of the adders will be an Edelbrock intake. I'm not familiar with the workings of the heat/ac system on the car, so am I going to run into a problem with the heater since I don't think this intake has a place for the water valve ? Has anyone tried this and if so, how did you work it out ?

I actually installed an edelbrock rpm intake manifold on my ride and had no problem. The intakes are made with the same water ports as the stock intakes so you should have no problem with your upgrade

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was hoping for that kind of answer. I couldn't remember if there was a threaded port for the valve or not. That eliminates on of my concerns.
