Dumb Question of The Day

Can someone tell me in which order these washers go onto the studs? I know I should have taken a photo when removing everything, lol.. I painted the cases of my new Rally Gauges and forgot in which order the washers go on.

Thanks in Advance

One more Dilemma, lol...I know there are 10 studs, 10 Nuts that go together obviously, lol.. But I only have (7) Flat washers and (2) Screws on each side where I'm pointing. I know I didn't lose any parts, so I'm trying to figure out which Studs and which Screws get the (10) Star Washers and where the only (7) Flat Washers go... Where is my Dunce Cap, lolFuel Gauge set up.jpg

The flat washers help the stud make good contact with the circuit board. The 3 studs that are in a triangle formation near the center of the board are the ones that don't need flat washers, as the holes are larger and there is no contact with the board in those locations.

Thank You Randy & Eric for your help. I think I have got it straight now. Just to be totally sure, nothing needs to go under the screw head where my finger is pointing to?

No, not necessary but you could put a small star washer there if you wish. It would only serve to aid in keeping the screw tight.

It wasn't a dumb question if you didn't know the answer.
Dumb would have been doing it wrong because you didn't ask.
I have made this post to lots who seem almost embarrassed to ask, but if you don't ask how will you find out?.
