The Dualjet carb has the same throttle geometry as the Quadrajet?

I am assuming a 78 to 82 Dualjet will have the proper TV cable geometry? Being a front half of a Qjet and equipped with the TH200 from the factory makes me assume this is the case. The bracket on the 260 for the throttle and TV cable had a the bracket positioned much to far back for a 2004R TV cable. I used an Olds 307 bracket and mounted it where the back of Qjet would sit, where the back of the filled in Dualjet would sit. I adjusted the TV cable and used a governor I thought shifted at 4000 rpm. It shifts at 3000 or so full throttle. No slipping, just quick shifts. It is no doubt a bone stock overhaul and the speedo is bang on. It has been awhile since I drove an Olds with a stock shifting trans.

The answer is no. I did not have proper pull even adjusted. I added zip ties in front of the head to get full pull and normal shifts.
