This is a vehicle that was involved in a 2 car motor vehicle accident that I responded to on Sunday. The patient in this car is in critical condition with bilateral femur fractures, multiple pelvic fractures. and chest injuries at a major trauma center. The vehicle in the picture is a late model Lexus, the vehicle that struck her was a Jeep Liberty that was driven by a DUI individual who had no injuries, although her vehicle rolled three times

 

Until people start doing some real time and not just get slaps on the hands it will never stop.

Ive seen some pretty hammered ES330's come out of our shop looking like new but I'm going out on a limb and call that one a total.

 

In my book thats at least assult with a deadly wepon and should carry at least the same charges. I agree the law needs to get tougher with DUI's
