Drive Shaft. 70 vs 71

Someone please school me on differences between 70 71 drive shafts. Both cars convertibles
I recall one uses u bolts, vs straps. Other than that are they interchangeable?

reason for asking is my 71 convertible has 1970 Full axle W-27 which obviously doesn’t belong on this car.
going back stock, so trying to figure out what I need before I remove the W27

The issue is the rear axle. 1970 uses a Type O axle, 1971 uses a corporate ten bolt. These axles have different dimensions from the axle centerline to the yoke on the pinion. This changes the driveshaft length by about an inch.
