Drive on Indianopolis Speedway

Going on the Powertour. Went in 22 and 23. Both times the slots for driving on Atlanta Motor Speedway were sold out. Havent been able to find out how to sign up to drive on Indianapolis. Anyone know?

I can't help you with that question. But I will say that driving the Indy Speedway is just amazing! We did it with the Olds on a Power Tour maybe 20 years ago- A great experience!!

The HRPT venue is Indianapolis Raceway Park (the drag strip), NOT Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Also, Penske is being massive ***** about letting any car club drive on the IMS. The Hulman family just kind of kept on keeping on, and were mindful of tradition and remembered from where they came. Penske is running the track completely on a "if you don't make us ****-tons of money and are racing related; we don't care about you." They forget that the fans made IMS what it is, and it would behoove them to maintain good relations with national car clubs. My car club is going there this summer, and they can't shake 30 minutes loose for a parade lap for us. I will politely express my massive disappointment to a representative in person there.

I did it through Richard Petty Driving Experience. It was fun.

Indy has a lot of history and is cool to drive around but for me it is not that big of deal overall. I don't know if they still do Christmas light displays there but you drove down the front stretch and across the bricks when they done that. I don't really care to drive it unless they let me run 100 MPH or so.
