Drip rail tips?

Hey Guys,

I finally got around to getting new (re-pop) drip rail moldings from Fusick.

Does anyone have suggestions / tips for me prior to me installing the new parts? (70 442, no vinyl top)

Should I use a flat hammer or ball-peen?

Thanks!

Jim

Try to put them on by hand, and a small rubber mallet. Be carefull.

You use one of those old meat tenderizing hammers.

I used my hands.
A little Door-Ease on the lower edge where they hook on may make it a little easier.
Learned the trick a hundred years ago from an old timer bodyman.
I used the lube on all my molding clips , helps the trim snap right on, and a Vista Cruiser has about 10,000 running feet of the stuff.
