Dents in Chrome above wheels

Dents in Chrome above wheels
Where would I be able to get original chrome for the front and back because they both have dents on them? Also my tailpipe has holes in it and is dripping. Any help would be appreciated. Sincerely, Kevin.

I believe that's a 64 cutlass / f85 and from what I have seem are very rare, but i have seen a few pop up. I would think it would be worth while to look into a chrome shop that can recondition the one you have. I am in Utah and Ogden chrome is who i would use , but it gets costly as well. With what ever you choose good luck and from what I could see nice car

If you can find a better one I'd do that. That one has a nasty crease on the aft side that may not be easy to straighten. Let me check parts book to make sure there's no difference between the F85 Deluxe and the Cutlass.
Tailpipe? Any good exhaust shop should be able to bend you a new one. Have them do it in aluminized pipe instead of plain steel. Keep in mind that original equipment mufflers have drain holes in them to let condensation out and reduce rust-outs.

OK- parts books show 1964 all F85 and 1965 standard F85 w/ deluxe trim option use the same wheel opening mouldings both front and rear. Should you be lucky enough to find NOS (new old stock):
Fronts: Grp 8.132 (8.147 in some books) p/n 384270 RH, 384271 LH, 1964 F85, 1965 Std F85 Deluxe option
Rears: Grp 12.116 p/n 384272 RH, 384273 LH, 1964 F85 Deluxe & Cutlass except station wagons, 1965 Std F85 Club Coupe & 4D Sedan
1965 is a strange listing. It shows the above part #s for standard F85 w/ deluxe trim option and different part #s for a 1965 Deluxe F85. I think the difference is the 1965 Deluxe F85 and Cutlass have a side moulding that connects to the wheel opening mouldings at about the same level as your car's V8 emblem, and standard F85 with deluxe trim option connects to the rocker moulding as yours does.
Keep in mind that Oldsmobile refers to all 61-72 A-body cars as F85 in the parts books, including Cutlass and 442.
Welcome to the sometimes screwy world of Oldsmobile (and GM for that matter) parts numbering, my young friend. Good luck in your search as that car is nice enough to go to the trouble and expense to find nicer pieces.
