Dealership Photos
Since I saw dealer pics in the Muscle Car Dealer thread, and not wanting to hijack that thread, thought I would start a new one.
This question is posted on the premise that the only stupid question is the one that is not asked.
Wondering if anyone might have pics of an Indiana Oldsmobile dealer, Walter & Lennertz, which later became Lennertz Oldsmobilie? Address was 6501 Broadway, Merrillville, IN.
If so, I sure would love to see/have them. Thanks!

A pretty good story that references the dealership

This link references the dealership as Lennertz Oldsmobile Agency way back when...

Scott,
I thank you for your efforts.
The first pic you found, of the matchbook, is one I supplied. The last is what the property looks like today. The 2nd, I had never seen. It is a billboard for the dealership after Walter had died, and Lennertz had sold. The guy on the billboard is Steve Moskowitz, now Exec. Dir. of the AACA.
I am seeking a shot of the dealership from back-in-the-day, as I remember it.

D.Yaros, check out this Lennertz thermometer on e-bay:

Hi, while we are on the dealership topic... Would anyone have any pics or info on Lake Oldsmobile in Bayshore NY. My dad worked there from 67-70 as a mechanic. Also looking for pics of Park Lane Motors in Canada circa 1968. Thanks, Gary.
Thank you remembering and giving the link. I have looked, added to my "watch list" and am considering.
It may be a little hard to believe, but I already have one, which is similar. However, it is not nearly in as good condition.
Perhaps I could start a collection of Walter & Lennertz dealer promos?

Dave, collecting car dealership memorabilia is cool and a big part of this hobby! I actually collect Chicago area dealership memorabilia, mainly the GM ones, preferably Chevrolet dealers. The really neat stuff I sometimes find is the stuff from high performance orientated dealerships. I actually found that thermometer I linked for you at a Chicago area estate sale. Here is just a small sample of some of the stuff in my personal collection:
