Dairy Queen Cruise -In DeSoto, Missouri

Morning guys,
I went to a very nice cruise-in yesterday afternoon and evening at the DQ in the small town of DeSoto, MO, which is about 50-miles south of St. Louis. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, there was a great turnout, and a wide variety of cars. Here's some pics:

I remember that layout. Do you hit that show regularly?

John - I didn't know you ever lived in Missouri? Yes, I usually make it to that cruise-in at least 3 or 4 times during the season. It is recurring on the 1st Saturday of the month, April - October, and it's only about 25-miles from my place. There's always a wide variety of cars there.

Correction on my part, I remember it from a previous round of your pictures. I don't live in MO, although my sister lives in STL.

I always appreciate you and everyone else that posts their car show pictures. It is always great to see everyone and their different tastes in cars. Plenty to comment on as always. Nice yellow Buick. My Mom bought an orange Maverick new in 1970. Thanks again for posting all these.

I'm going to have to get down there one of these days. Is this event the same day every month as the other one in Sunset Hills?

Thanks for sharing

no1oldsfan - Glad you enjoyed the pics! Nostalgia makes me gravitate towards the '65 - '72 "Muscle Cars" because they were the Cool Cars when I was a teenager, but I love all cars and motorcycles. I had to have a pic of that Maverick "Grabber", you just don't see many of them. I'm not up on my Fords, but one of my Uncles had a yellow and black one like that.

Thanks for the info and I'll have to check this one out sometime this summer.
