All I ever think when I see something like this is that, at one point, this car was proudly driven home from the dealership, probably by a father bringing it home to his family, and it was the family hauler. It was their pride and joy. Now look at it.

Here's one I saw myself a few years ago. It was out in a central Pennsylvania field with a few other cars so slowly returning to the elements. At the time of the photo, which is from 2007, it looked like it still had some usable parts.

There was an '80-ish Delta 88 sitting right next to it (plus a couple of Cadillacs nearby--whoever is discarding these cars certainly has some money), but I didn't take any additional photos of that one.

If feasible, leave the moss on the car for the derby. It would be very hard to duplicate that. "Pet Cemetery"

Poor car. And to think it was kept for a reason for this many years. I see more Vista Cruisers in this sort of shape than I do restored. I hope we do not run out of ones that can be saved...
