Nice car! Ill throw my opinion out: I can't see body up close and don't know if its been painted but jus from description and pix, Original 4 spd with low miles and desirable color (any paperwork is a bonus) I would estimate value between $42k-52k

So, checking ebay completed auctions, there is only one 1968 Sport Coupe listed in the last month or so. It was listed multiple times with reserve not met each time. It got no takers with a BIN of $24K, and in auctions open for bidding, it hit just under $15K. Admittedly this car was a non-original 455 and TH400, not an original drivetrain and 4spd. Several 68 Holiday Coupes went unsold with max bids from $15K to $39K. Of course, until cash actually changes hands, you don't know if those were real bids or shills.

Thanks. The car does have a little rust on the bottom of the front driver's side fender and pass. door. This is a survivor and does have little dings and dents. Other than that it is a solid car and drives like a new one. I am keeping this a survivor and just wanted to know that I had the correct value for my insurance. It's hard to value a survivor. Thanks again for your input.

Those numbers are more realistic. I have maintained a good #3 car, which is a car you see at a cruise in weekend show, and not the one really really nice one (that one is a #2 car) for a 442 is worth 20 grand. A Cutlass is worth 15 grand. Those may well have gone up 5 grand since I made this estimate ten years ago. I add 5 grand for 4 speed, 5 grand for rag top, and 20 grand for a w-30.
I think this car would, were he to sell it, ask 35, and take 27.
However, I'd insure it for 45.

So is this one:How about just "$40 to $50k"? Do we really need the 2's?
I'll just say that it's worth $24,554.67, give or take a a penny or two.
