Cruise Night Oldsmobiles
Here's some pictures from the last couple weeks, at the Sunday night cruise, at Flavor Frenzy Ice Cream Shop, in Addison Illinois.
Had my '71 AMC out last week, and the '75 Ninety-Eight yesterday. Always a great time. Snuck in a picture of my AMC at the end.

Total speculation here on my part, but I'm guessing the large number of Old's is a function of location. Addison is a western suburb of Chicago, so a large population base to draw from. Here in the greater St. Louis area we have an active Old's Club and we usually have at least 6 to 10 (sometimes more) nice cars show up to the major cruise-ins. Just my two cents.

I agree the large metro population helps draw cars of all kinds, usually in multiples, and Chicago has always been a pretty big Olds town. No clubs or anything present, just a loosely organized thing with some music in a shopping center parking lot, but it really draws a huge quality and quantity of cars.

Nice photos...thanks for sharing. I checked out their website. That's the type show I like...FREE, no registration, local Ice Cream store...folks simply getting together.

My favorite kind as well. Laid back, just having a good time, there's a Portillos in the same shopping center as well so you can grab a beef or polish sausage and take a break in the AC for a bit, and have an ice cream from the shop later. Makes for a perfect Sunday evening
