The thread I made is now defunct due to that decoder up and running.
What's interesting is that it calls for automatic floor shifter and bench seat, which is not an option. What I actually think that means is that all cars had a hole for auto floor shifter, until they got hogged out for standard shift floor.
In other words, this thing is a column shift automatic with a hole plug in the unused shifter hole under the carpet.
Understand, John. I recall the earlier iterations of the datadecoder, your efforts & the newly revamped original datadecoder - including recent efforts to resurrect RPO. We'll see how it plays out.
We spend time assisting on decoding both Cowl Tags, VINs & RPOs. There may be an opportunity to create a sticky for the Cowl Tags, VINs & RPOs. The latest updates were DEC 20, 2021 - Added Body Color and Interior Codes for Oldsmobile. So, there's been some significant time spent revamping and updating the site & tools.

John - LOL You did an awesome job on the 1967 page/thread, too. Since we do spend significant time assisting GUESTS (primarily) in reading cowl tags, deciphering VINs and RPOs, I think it may be appropriate to create a sticky highlighting where users/guests can find the decoders and have them perform the decoding themselves. If afterwards, they need assistance, there's plenty CO members to assist if they require further assistance, but it would save time if they did it on their own. You agree?
Last night I was reviewing the "Tools" drop-down Menu. The "tool" for VIN decoder is in-place from dba Internet Brands and is mostly useless to the CO site since the majority of our VINs are of the 14 character variety (or less) making it basically useless. The Recalls and TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) are equally useless and basically are not populated with "ANYTHING". I tried several known Recall and TSB searches and nothing was demonstrated (useless). They're both dba Internet Brands OTS (Off The Shelf) "canned" widgets which are on display on all of the many other dba Internet Brands sites (useless to CO, IMO).
Everything under the "Tools" menu dropdown is a dba Internet Brands back-end widget - very meaningless on the CO site (again, IMO). We're not going to talk a dba Internet Brands Administrator to remove or customize the "Tools" drop-down menu for CO website, so I believe our best bet is to create a "Sticky" with the VIN, RPO and Cowl Tag datadecoder websites.
Thoughts? If you agree or have suggestions, let me know. I can move this over to (other) Eric for his thoughts if you agree and I'll create a sticky page for (other) Eric to review. At the bare minimum, when someone asks help to decode anything, we can at least provide that user/guest to the "Sticky" and they can perform the operation on their own. Again, if they can't follow directions or require further assistance a CO member will come to their rescue.

It would appear so. Since this thread doesn't provide a picture of your car, I looked up your other thread to see if I could find a picture of your car - which apparently is currently red. So, yes, it would appear your car has a repaint.
Sorry to embed/discuss the datadecoder posts in your thread (above) - I hope you don't mind.
