The Cover of the Rolling Stone

OK, it's not me that's on the cover, and it's not the Rolling Stone, but the June 2, 2016 issue of Old Cars does have a car that looks just like mine on the cover. I think it's cool.

Your Olds has a clone! It's a conspiracy. Very cool though.

How do you know it's not your car?

Plenty of Oldsmobiles deserving similar recognition to Dr Hook, but get overlooked.

I saw that!

The body shop that did the paint job on my car also took out the few small dents that were here and there on the body. They did a real nice job, and the body on mine really does look good, even up close.

One major difference between the car in the article and mine, which obviously cannot be seen in these photos, is that his has air-conditioning. Mine doesn't and never did. (Heck, it's a convertible! In the 1960s, who sprung for air-conditioning in a convertible!)

The wheelcovers on mine are not correct for the year. They're actually from the 1980s, I believe. But they're the right size, they are Olds wheelcovers, and I got them relatively cheap at a swap meet, so on they went! His wheelcovers look correct for 1967. I have the original, more plain-looking Olds wheelcovers hanging on the wall in my garage.
