A couple of small bites of the elephant done.

Today I was able to finish a couple of small projects on the Olds.

I replaced the battery tray which was alot of cutting, grinding and drilling. The top of the bolts were mostly gone along with the tray and nothing holding the battery.

The other project was fixing the pass door. It had been hit, then a dent puller and lots of bondo with a fair amout of rust. I had found a another door that was straight sanded it primed it and put it on. It also had a small amount of rust which was cut out and new metal was put in.

Holding the door with one hand and starting the bolts with the other is tough.

If you don't believe that I actualy used jack stands to get the bolts started and snug and a floor jack to get it straight.

I will work on the pics. Its hard to load on the slow dial-up I have.
I now have a working lock in that door also.
