Cool find

Stumbled up on a set of 70 rust free fenders today , I really wanted 72s on my 72 but hey I couldn't pass them up need no work . While I was there he was showing me his 2nd owner documented 72 442 telling me how he asked his wife to marry him in it . He's slowly doin a restoration on it tells me he's wanting to buy new bumpers for the car so guess what I scored ..... I got a really nice diver rear 442 bumper with cutouts , I had to pull it myself but man what a good find today . Anyhow he proseeded to tell stories about the 72 hurst olds with sunroof he has along with 2 70 w cars in a building somewhere in dallas . He brought all these cars with him from Cali 10 years ago . Anyhow thought I'd share the story . I left my number incase he ever was intrested in letting any of them go ...

If they are rust free 70 fenders you can sell them for much more than 71-2 rust free fenders. If you have a little time it may be worth your while to sell them to a 70 guy and find a correct set for your car.

Great job on leaving your number with him. I have scored many cars this way.

If you need to swap the driver side for a nice rust free 71-72, let me know.
My 70 442 project has a nice one and needs a 70 unit. Let me know, I'll bring the boat. I need a Lake Fork fix anyway, it's been to long since I have been there.

Ok true blue as of right now I'm not doin anything with the set I picked up today , I think splitting up the set would be a bad idea . Guess what I just so happen to have a driver 70 fender that came on my 72 supreme . Ill have to look at it real good as I put it on my vert last year but we may be able to do something on that one .

Well I say I'm not doin anything, let me rephrase that.... Somebody bring me two rust free 72 fenders and throw in maybe a electric window set or 442 grills or oai 72 repop hood
I'd throw in cash on my side for any deal to be right . I'm fair , just parts hunting for my 72 442 clone . I know there's a 70 guy that really needs these and that would be the only way
