I bought my car from him 2 years ago. He had the block then and was offering it to me for $4500.
He explained how he came to own it, and some of it's history. Everything seemed legit, but aside from not having the extra money for it, I didn't know what to look for if it was a good block, or junk block, but it seemed to be in good shape.

 

Wow, That would be nice to have ... Slap some W-43 heads on it, that would make one rare engine.

Neat that they had custom pistons made to match the block rather than cutting the block.

Already has an overbore on it, as stock 350 bore is 4.057. A .098 bore job? can you go any further w/it?

 

dang, that is really really cool. I wouldnt mind owning one of these at some point in time, but im sure everyone says that. Anyone know how many got built, like 10? haha!

Depends on the thickness of the liners in that block. Also, if they are press-in (as opposed to cast-in) liners, they can simply be replaced. Interesting that 4.155 bore and 3.385 stroke give you 368 cu in, or just about exactly 6.0 liters.

 

its really nice to see one of these floating around, it would be really nice if someone would take the time to re pop these in aluminum, since you can buy any cubic inch chevy in aluminum, it would solve the problem with these engines getting hard to find, or so they say, i have a 350 im trying to sell as we speak haha!
