I have a PUI boot and I'm pretty happy with it. I've heard great things about the Legendary boot but, I'm uncertain the almost double in cost is worth it for my purposes. Ball park is about $150 for a PUI boot from Jegs or Summit Racing (I've seen them for $200 elsewhere online). I forget where but, think I've seen Legendary boots are between $269-$299.
My opinion, call a place like Jegs or Summit and get a quote. They (and Summit) do not list all the colors on their website but, they are available as these are all typically drop ship and not stocked. I just got a pretty great deal on an ACC trunk mat.
I've seen several 'other' covers, which I cannot validate were from either Summit or Jegs; and, I have seen the Legendary covers. The Legendary covers are of far better quality both in materials and stitching than any I have seen. I have performed several R&R items on my '71 CS convertible interior upholstery (seating, carpet, etc.) and I would not order from anyone other than Legendary.
I got my boot from legendary. at first install I found it to be tight, but it actually fit perfect, I also ordered it separately from the interior covers yet the color match was bang on.
Get the legendary boot, Its worth it.
BTW, I would suggest you call Legendary to place your order. The sales folks are excellent and are very willing to answer any/all questions you might have. Good people, IMO.
