That 1st one looks like a Eldorado or maybe a 76-77 Monte Carlo. Not a fan, but interesting...

Yeah, you can definitely see the Monte fenders in the first one. I've never been a fan of the 73-77 cars, but I kind of like the second one the best, though it does have the scallops on the lower body sides that I just hated on the real cars. These sketches were obviously done before the 5MPH bumper requirements were imposed. You can definitely see how that hurt the styling on the real cars.

You can definitely see the colonnade Lemans roofline and quarters on the 3rd one

I've heard they were supposed to come out in '72, but the UAW strike pushed it back to '73. Would have been interesting to see what 1-year only small bumper Colonnade cars would have looked like.

They were supposed to come out as 1972 models. Thank god for the delay, which has been partly attributed to the 1970 UAW strike (which delayed design and fab of the tooling needed for the new cars) and partly to the need to redesign them for the buggy bumpers.
