ClassicOldsmobile - now also on Facebook!
Hello ClassicOldsmobile members!
If you are interested, the way technology happens these days, I decided to create a ClassicOldsmobile Facebook group - a chance to meet our fellow members more instantaneously, chat, share pictures, etc! Here's the link:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/315069808574395/
Hope to see you there!

Thank you! And, I do very much respect that. I don't at all want my inquiry to feel as if though I'm forcing upon people to get Facebook. I understand many things nowadays seem to be shoving Facebook down people's throats. However I appreciate the comments! :-) For those who are on Facebook, look forward to chatting to you on there! Those on this site, you aren't missing anything anyhow. We all started here, didn't we??

Coppercutlass, I love the message below your avatar "I'm on a chevy budget." That makes me smile. I have a '63 Chevy myself, and let me say that is WAY simpler to work on than my '57 Mercury. I'm on a Chevy budget too!!!

No offense, but I never understood why someone from a car forum, a great forum where everyone with Oldsmobiles hangs out, asks questions, shares info, would now want to go to Facebook, where they hang out, ask questions, and share info.
Just curious, I've encountered this many times, and I just don't get it.

Feh.
I give up enough valuable information about myself on line as it is.
If FaceBook wants me (and my data), they'll have to pay me, otherwise I'm perfectly happy will all that old-fashioned stuff like e-mail, internet fora, cell phones, and MMS .
Of my high school and college friends (and, yes, that was a long time ago), I'm practically the only one who doesn't use it, but as far as I'm concerned, if you're my "friend" and you don't have the time to pick up the phone and call me, or write me an e-mail or a letter, I really don't have time for you either.
