The "trim tag" (under the hood, on the cowl, driver side) will tell you more information (time built, interior color and front seat type (bucket seats or bench seat), exterior color, if it came with a vinyl top or not, if it is truly a Cutlass Supreme or if it is really a 4-4-2).

To add to Randy's post, in the 1967 model year, the 442 was an option only available on the Cutlass Supreme models. The VIN won't tell you if the car is a real 442 or just a Supreme. The cowl tag has that info, at least for a Lansing-built car like yours. Post a photo of the cowl tag.
