I seem to recall someone posting a chart with the dimensions for the power steering and R4 compressor spacers for the Olds engine. Assuming I’m not imagining it, I can’t believe I didn’t save it or make a copy for my Oldsmobile Bible. If I did, I can’t find it.

Anyway, got a phone call over the weekend from a Oldsmobile newby friend. He is attempting a water pump replacement, and now the belts don’t line up. Sounds familiar!! If the chart is available, I’d like to forward a copy to him. And I’d like to put a copy in my Oldsmobile bible, and my garage wall.

Close enough. I remember seeing a chart with a picture of the spacers and the dimensions somewhere. I also remember seeing R4 compressor spacers mentioned, they look similar to the lower P/S pump spacer.

Hopefully my buddy can figure this out. If not I’m sure I’ll be getting a call this weekend.
