Carpet color choice for a '65 Cutlass (looking for knowledge)

I'm working on bringing a '65 Cutlass Convertible back to life that was my father's back in the 90's. I will preface this by saying by the time my father got the car it went through many hands and many floor patches.

So the car is Target Red with "Red" interior. The interior color is "955" and the build date is second week of November. The top if the dash is a darker red (maroon) and the lower dash color is a brighter red. The seats and panels were also red that matched the lower unpadded dash. I remember the carpet (long gone now) being a darker color as well along with the lower door panel carpeting. Here are my questions:

1. For code "955" was the carpet in the car a true red? Or was it a dark red?
2. For code "955" was the dash top a darker red? Or was it a brighter red like the seats and lower dash?
3. Anyone have pictures of an original '65 Cutlass with red interior?

This was a picture from Big Daddy SPO's that looks similar to what the old door panels looked like coloring wise:

Here is some info. Wild only goes down to 1966 on page 29. No idea what the *15 means under the 955?
From my recollection, I'm gonna say a red interior A body from the great car era will come with a mix of red shades.
I'm also gonna say could have been a red or a black carpet(good Q on the carpet... All of the original 65s with a red interior that I can recall had a darker dash, carpet, and lower door panels(more of an ox bood). Seats headliner steering wheel and painted surfaces were lighter more in line with the exterior color.
Im not the 65 expert just been around as long.

So i'm not totally crazy. ACC has "red" and "medium red", I think the medium red carpet is more in line with what I remember (and would match the dash top).

As crazy a the rest of us...lol.
ACC, Legendary, Fusick, Year One OPP etc... Are well known interior reproduction specialist/retailers. Drop them a call and ask. Get a couple of opinions I'm sure they are more up to date with this us.

Carpet and Dash coloring

Here is what I had to do on my 2 cars. On the 64 Cutlass, I went with a PUI full interior in a different color than they offered stock. I went with their dye number Red 30, which is different then their stock Red 64. Asked them what carpet they used for the door panels and was told 515 Red from Trimparts. I then ordered carpet from Trimparts in 515 to match the lower panel carpet for the car. I had the dash recovered in extra Red 30 vinyl that I bought when I ordered all the other components. I sprayed the metal dash section using paint from the Parts Place that matches Red 30 PUI dye. The color is close, but I sprayed a matte clear over, so it would not be shiny in the sun. There is enough contrast that it looks good. When I started on the restore of the 65, I found that ACC was the only carpet available. I ordered samples for ACC and had my samples from the 64. Trimparts colors matched almost exactly with the ACC samples. So I chose the darkest being a Maroon for the floor and lower doors in the 65. OPGI is offering a Metallic Red repro dash and glove box for the 65, so I might just buy those instead of having my dash recovered this time. I think I will just use the Red 30 PUI paint color from Parts Place to paint the metal section of my dash, as it is very close.

Old vs. New

Here is a photo of the old carpet on the left and new maroon (013 ACC) on the right. Here is a color chart for Trimparts carpet, but the colors match ACC pretty well. The Emberglow is darker, but has a bit of orange in it. Maroon was the darkest I could find.
