Cardone Needs # Off My Brake Booster
Cardone has my power brake booster for my 1967 Olds Delta 88 Custom. There was a message left for me asking for the part number of the booster. They said they need the part number in order to rebuild it. How would I know the part number? How would I ever be able to find that out? The car had 4 wheel drum brakes with power assist. It could be a Moraine or a Bendix part.
Are you able to help me?

Don't think these will help but here you go anyway.
I got a couple numbers.
Listed as "OEM":
Part # 0
and part # 014
Then, I had a listing as "Casting Number"
Part # 2505043
Part # 2507222
Part # 2507344
I also have the Cardone rebuilt power brake booster part number:
w/master cylinder and reservoir Part # 50-1109
w/o master cylinder and w/o reservoir Part # 50-81109
No number crossed over when I typed in the number for the booster with no master cylinder and no reservoir. And the price I have on my computer for a rebuilt Cardone booster w/ master and reservoir is $145. Lets hope they don't charge you more than that!
Hopefully those numbers help somehow. Goodluck.

Thanks Yellowstatue & 76Supreme350. I'll call them back with these numbers. I had already given them this number... Cardone rebuilt power brake booster w/master cylinder and reservoir part number: Part # 50-1109. O'Reilly/Murray's Auto Parts quoted me $114.99 plus tax, plus shipping. I had heard that there was some kind of mid-year change in '67 with the boosters.

I got my brake booster & master cylinder back Friday, Nov. 8, 2010. It looks good, except I'll have to paint the booster part black.
