I just finished designing the poster. I plan to use it this upcoming season. I just bought my Olds this past September so haven’t had a full season to show it off. The shows I did cruise into she really turned heads however most people have no idea what it is. A lot have never heard of Oldsmobile before. That’s why I figured the poster would help.
Unfortunately my Hurst is not numbers matching. It is however very accurate. I’d say about 85% true to the real deal. Has the right paint, interior is accurate except no rally gauges but I have those to install. Wheels are 14”. Of course 15” are hard to come by. Period correct H/O 455 with true ram air setup. She’s close enough that people that know about the car have to ask if it’s a real one and that’s good enough for me. I have completely rebuilt front suspension with modern improvements such as tubular control arms and coilovers. I plan to install Vintage Air because this will be a driver.
I owned a 2023 C8 Corvette which was a great car and always said the only way I’d sale it was if a classic came along worth it. Then popped up an ad from Street Side Classic of this Hurst Olds Tribute car. Not really any other car would I have considered letting the C8 go. My grandkids think I’m crazy but I can always buy another C8!
I guess I'm confused. I'm compelled to ask, did you let "AI" create the image of the car??
I have to be blunt, the rear image is a horrible rendering if you are going for accuracy. clone or not.

I had an argument with AI yesterday. It was trying to tell me my 1970 Impala had to be a 1966 because that was the last year they had quad headlights. I knew that was wrong however it was convinced I was wrong. Finally had to respond with other sources showing thru out the 60’s & 70’s they had quad headlights. After that it admitted I was right and it would make the correction. Definitely not ready to start operating on people!
The primer gray more door Cutlass was my first car. I bought it with saved up birthday money. It cost me $388. Wasn’t much on looks but was a great car to learn in.
The gold 442 was my second car. Absolutely loved it. Sold it once I got married. Always have missed it and it’s the only car I’ve always wanted to own again. That’s were Miss Hurst comes in.
AI may be wrong today but in the future we won't be able to distinguish if it is wrong or not.
Disturbingly accurate.

If you haven't, let them know it represents a Corvette level performer in its day. And after the muscle era came to an end it took till 1990 for a new Corvette to be quicker. (1971 LS6 Vette ran 13.7 and a 1990 ZR1 ran 13.4) Besides that an H/O tribute is a much more practical car. And you can actually give several of them a test ride at the same time as opposed to one at a time in the Vette.
