Car Dolly...any ideas?

I just bought the car below.
Any problem solvers out there have an idea if how to modify the cradles to keep the body from moving around?
I feel like the rocker pinch welds just sitting in here might slide a bit fore/aft?
Maybe its just a wood block to increase friction?

LOve to hear any thoughts...I can weld if you keep it simple.
Thanks

Perhaps pinch-weld jack pads would do the trick

Search “car jack pinchweld adapters”

There’s quite an assortment of styles, including DIY types

Could even take some angle iron, close it down in a vise a bit for use as a “V” groove saddle, then tack it to dolly or make some tabs or brackets & bolt it.

Search “unibody machine pinch weld clamps”. Or simply “pinch weld clamps” for more inspiration on what can be quickly fabbed with angle iron or flat stock/strap. This would give you some clamping action so that it wouldn’t move around or slide.

Toyota method is a block that sits on the inside of each pinchweld on the back, so it can't slide left or right, and a pin on the front ones for a convenient hole in the body. You could do the same with a bolt. Our cars go up and down at a 45 on the conveyors.

I was trying to avoid drilling a hole through the pinch weld Koda.
I’ll try the adapters and see where it goes.
thanks guys!

Maybe cut wood blocks like 2x6 or 2x8 to fit snug in the cradles, lag bolt them in through existing cradle holes, then cut grooves in the blocks w/ a skillsaw at proper depth for the pinch welds??

There's a guy on YouTube building a pro street Honda. His pinch weld clamp solution was square steel stock pieces with a slot cut lengthwise for the pinch weld. Then, 2 through bolts crosswise to close the gap and grab the pinch weld. That was then welded to a jig with a threaded adjuster for height. His handle is mrnerdyaf; should be Ep. 1 or so. I looked briefly yesterday but not hard enough.

the lower picture is like the factory used to locate the body to body "truck" that the line chain pulled.. there were several on each truck. dont know how sturdy your dolly would be by adding beams to each side so you could put more than 4 on it
