Car dead...had to move shifter to get started
OK I take a ride and shut off car to see an old barn. When I get back in car and try to start it NOTHING! There was no engagement of starter. All idiot lights came on as I turned key but nothing. So I moved gear shift to neutral, again nothing. I place again in park and nothing. I move shifter back and forth and place in park again, turn key and varrooom. Am I looking at a neutral kill sensor and if so what are my options??? Be kind.... it just seems every year its something!!

Neutral safety switch out of adjustment.
Easy to fix - just loosen two fastening screws and slide switch into better alignment.
I kinda like them like that as a theft deterrent - you have to push the shifter upward slightly when in Park to start - no kid stealing your car will know this.
