Car Cover

Has anyone ever used one of these car covers for ILT? http://www.ebay.com/itm/disposable-plastic-car-cover-elastic-band-dust-cover-rain-car-cover-new-1-/160651777422?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessorie s&vxp=mtr&hash=item256797958e

Just wondering if the paint would be able to breathe properly. It would be just for use inside my garage.

Breathability would be a concern as would scratching of paint and trim.

Not yet Henry, the painter found himself a temp job out of the country. He was supposed to be back this week, but i haven't checked to see if he is or not yet. If he is back i might be getting some parts painted this week. BTW Steve said that you guys use some type of plastic cover for the cars at your work?

Ya they have some plastic ones and some better ones made of some cloth. Are you going to use it for a temporary cover? It might be ok for that. Price is right.

I'd never use a cover like that on my car, as doubt having plastic slapping on the car, holding moisture, will do things much good. Also, no protection from the sun, or prying eyes. I got a basic cotton/poly job when in an apartment years ago, from JC Whitney. Really the only type available at the time. Some dust gets under, but no kind of paint damage. Actually pretty nice, as easily fits in the washing machine.
