I bought a pair of stainless wheel arch guards off of a well known auction site (no names) for my '63 dynamic 88 but they don't fit. In fact I don't think they are for my car at all.

The part no. are 380208 & 380209

These are genuine GM products but I need to know what they are for before I sell them on.

Smile Keep this a secret

Those part numbers 380208-9 are for a '63 98 front wheel opening--flange moulding--

They should work in the same application for an 88 then, right? or did the Dynamic/Super have those mouldings? I know 98/SF did.

Aris, if I remember right these go on the front edge of the wheel opening, kinda behind the arch moulding.

Just been and tried one again, just in case I was being thick or something. Tried on every wheelarch in all positions and I can definately that they don't fit a 1963 88. Back on e-bay then!!

May not be the original part in the box?

I thought that too! They are a tight fit in there and I can't remember if the boxes were sealed or not. Might just have to keep them with all the other bits and pieces.
