Don't have the C&F book handy but the rest is:

10D built 4th week October 1963

64= 1964
34= Dynamic 88/Jetstar I (yes J-1 is a D88 subseries)
57= notchback hardtop coupe
BT 758 758th 57 body built at plant (correlates with 10D build date and I'm drawing a blank on BT assembly plant code)
305 is interior trim code which will be a vinyl bucket seat interior
LL= Regal Mist upper and lower body paint
C60= factory installed air conditioning

Someone else whose books aren't packed up might can get you the details on BT and 305.

Baltimore. 1964 was the first year that Oldsmobiles were built there. Previous production had been all Chevy.

I thought that BA was Baltimore and BT was Arlington, TX. Am I incorrect?

Also LLA the "A" is wheel color if I am not mistaken.

This is a good tag for designing my decoder. This is one of those one off's that shows RPO codes for ACC codes similar to Fremont.

You are correct about BT being Arlington, TX. Sorry for the misinformation. I KNEW I should have checked before posting...

As it turns out, however, BA is actually Doraville. Go figure.

That's an important clarification. According to my info I show the following:
F-85 series:
LA - Lansing
BA - Baltimore
BF - Fremont
KC - Kansas City

88/98 series:
LA - Lansing
BA - Doraville
BK - Kansas City
BL - Linden
BC - South Gate
BT - Arlington

Does that mean that Starfire falls into the 88/98 assembly plant list? That is what it appears to be. If this is the case I would need to evaluate adding assembly plant data to the style tables. I already found a large discrepancy in Chevy's built in KC where the VIN engine type does not match the cowl body series (VIN shows V8 Cowl shows L6 or vise versa don't have my notes in front of me)

As an aside -
Since the tags were created by a person on a machine, what would you characterize the error rate to be
and/or
would that likely be caught during one of the inspection phases and corrected?

That's right. 60s Starfires were B bodies so they'd be in with the 88s, or sometimes you see them referred to as FSC (full size car).

Looked at jetstar's pictures and not sure if I got LL right- that may be Cashmere Beige. All my mess is packed up and autocolorlibrary.com is acting weird for me so couldn't research it.

Well, it sure isn't an A-body.

The Starfire, Jetstar I, and Jetstar 88 are all B-body cars, built on the same assembly line as the Eighty Eights and using the same frames and sheet metal. The Ninety Eight is a C-body, but since the only fundamental difference between the B-body and C-body cars of those years was the wheelbase, they were built at the same assembly plants on the same lines.

You were right on the color. The car is red, at least it was. The underside of the trunk lid and door jams are still red. The rest of the car is sun baked.

Just out of curiosity, are the steel wheels original? If so, what color are they?

I missed the "A" in paint code. On a 1964 J-1, that will be the factory-applied painted pinstripe color. "A" usually translates to white in Oldsworld.

It has three rims from I'm guessing an S10 truck and one steel rim and it's silver.
