Cable Selection???

Unsure if this is correct location for question? If not; please direct me to correct area. Built engine during restoration 350 Rocket/TH350 transmission with Dualgate shifter. Upgraded to Holley 6150 (mechanical secondary). Now at point that I require throttle and detent cables. I assume that the stock detent cable to pedal is sufficient. My concern is best choice for throttle cable? Please advise.

Yes the stock cable would work assuming you have the correct pedal.

Yes, stock pedal. I assume that I will just need an adapter from stock cable to Holley carb?

You may be able to make your stock linkage work, just make sure the pedal opens the carb all the way.

Cable selection???

Thank you Eric. I am unsure what a throttle cable question has to do with my transmission. On my smart phone and lost location of post for a bit.

I moved it to General Discussion. Initially I thought we were talking about the detent cable. If the stock setup does not work there are many aftermarket available for a Chevy to work of the holly linkage. Let us know what works.

I am doing a similar thing on my 73 Ford van putting a Holley on it. Holley makes carbs that can handle a wide variety of stuff, and there are all sorts of accessory kits for specific applications. You may need a few parts.
