A/C line question

1966 442, tri carb car. Need the A/C line from the evaporator to the receiver/dryer.. Any place to source an 'original' or correct line? I can have one made but would rather a correct one if available.

Thanks!

Classicautoair or Vintageautoair dot com. If you can scrounge up a decent used hose they will install new hose and weld on the original ends.

That's the problem. Someone in the past twisted one of the original metal ends off apparently trying to remove it from the dryer..

Tri Carb car with air, there can't be many of those. Go fast and be cool. Sorry I can't help with your hose.

FYI 66 & 67 are different. I probably have one but I'm still off my feet for a while.

I would contact one of the above-mentioned A/C companies, as they may be able to reconstruct an original-appearing line from your destroyed one.

They have the tooling to make all kinds of lines from scratch.

The above mentioned companies have piles of used stuff for just this occasion. I used Vintage, they did one hell of a job on the last A/C car I did.

Yes,this is Mike. I wish I could help but I've got a medical condition right now that has me limited in what I can do. I have a box of A/C lines in the attic of my shop and I can't get to it right now. I sent my lines/complete system to Classic Air down in Florida for service and they did a great job.
