C Heads

Hi guys
What do you think the value of a pair of thermal cleaned big valve C heads from a 425 that was in a Toronado is?

I know everyone says they are one of the Olds best flowing heads, but if not rebuilt, I find it hard to get more than a $100.

So if I were to rebuild, hardened seats, guides, valves, springs, seals, decked and clean up the surfaces, etc..., then and try to sell them, what would they be worth then?

I have also found that you will never get as much as you have in them. That is why I have always found you can buy someone else's rebuilt, cheaper than doing it your self. Just like You can buy a nice complete restored car cheaper than you can do one.

Yeah I know what your saying. But I am not real worried about what I would have into them because I can do all the machining work myself and such so

What did you use for studs for those stock heads and those Harland sharp rockers?

Those rockers are deigned to work with stock pedestals,no drilling required. It's a nice set up but they are expensive.
