A/C and Edelbrock heads

Is there any issues with running the stock A/c brackets with the Edelbrock heads? The vehicle is 1970 Cutlass with the A/C mounted on the pass. side. Also, I'm using the Edelbrock Performer intake if that makes a difference. Thanks.

You may have an issue with fitment of the bracket over the valve cover.

You'll have to use stock height valve covers to clear the a/c bracket. Now, FWIW, I've read that the aluminum A6 can be run without that bracket, since I have the aluminum compressor I might remove the bracket just to do a little engine compartment clean up.

I ran into issues w/ the 455 E-Brock Performer Manifold and stock rear AC bracket. The pre threaded hole did not matchup by about 1/4 inch. I augered out the bracket hole a little and filled the factory hole on the manifold. Then drilled and tapped a new one in. Fits great now.
